24K Dragon Slot Review by Play'n GO

Prepare for an exciting adventure into a world of ancient treasures and mighty dragons with the 24K Dragon slot machine from the renowned provider Play'n GO. This slot plunges players into a fantasy universe where fiery beasts guard untold riches, and brave souls willing to confront them can win incredible prizes. The combination of stunning graphics, an engaging soundtrack, and innovative bonus features makes 24K Dragon one of Play'n GO's most striking releases.

Mechanics and RTP

24K Dragon is a 5-reel slot with an initial 4 rows, offering 1024 ways to win. However, during bonus rounds, the number of rows can increase, expanding the play area and the number of winning combinations. Bets range from a modest 0.20 credits to a substantial 100 credits per spin, making the game accessible to players with any budget.

• RTP (Retu to Player): The RTP range in 24K Dragon is from 96.20% to 94.20%, depending on the casino settings. It is recommended to check this indicator before starting the game to ensure the most favorable conditions.
• Volatility: The slot has high volatility, which means that wins may be infrequent but very significant. This is an ideal option for players who prefer to take risks for large payouts.
• Paylines: The base game uses a "Ways to Win" system, meaning winning combinations are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one. Initially, there are 1024 ways to win, but this number can significantly increase in bonus rounds.

Bonus Features

24K Dragon is rich in exciting bonus features that not only make the gameplay more dynamic but also significantly increase the chances of big wins.

• Wild Symbols: The golden treasure chest is the wild symbol. It can substitute for all other symbols except the scatter, helping to form winning combinations. Wild symbols can appear with x1, x2, or x4 multipliers, which are applied to wins they are part of. If multiple wild symbols participate in one combination, their multipliers are multiplied together, which can lead to impressive payouts.
• Scatter Symbols: The diamond is the scatter symbol. Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters anywhere on the reels triggers the free spins round.
• Free Spins:
  • 3 scatters award 8 free spins.
  • 4 scatters award 15 free spins.
  • 5 scatters award 20 free spins.
During free spins, the most interesting part happens – reelset change and symbol collection.
• Reelset Change: In the free spins round, special Golden Dragon symbols can appear on the reels. Each such symbol, when it lands, is collected in a meter above the playing field. As Golden Dragons accumulate, the game reel expands, adding additional rows:
  • 3 Golden Dragons – adds 1 row (the playing field becomes 5x5).
  • 6 Golden Dragons – adds 2 rows (the playing field becomes 5x6).
Thus, the number of ways to win can increase up to 8192!
• Symbol Collection: Golden Dragon symbols appearing during free spins are collected to unlock additional rows, as described above.
• Respin: During free spins, if 2 or more scatters land on the reels, you get additional free spins:
  • 2 scatters award 3 additional free spins.
  • 3 scatters award 5 additional free spins.
  • 4 scatters award 8 additional free spins.
  • 5 scatters award 12 additional free spins.
• Multipliers in Free Spins: Wild symbols with multipliers (x1, x2, x4) are also active during free spins, allowing for even larger wins.

Symbols

The symbols in 24K Dragon perfectly complement the slot's fantasy theme:

• High-paying symbols: Red Dragon (most valuable), Golden Dragon (special symbol in free spins), Sword, Goblet, Ring.
• Low-paying symbols: Card ranks from 10 to Ace, designed in a stylized font.
• Special symbols: Golden Chest (Wild), Diamond (Scatter).
