Aces And Faces

Aces And Faces Slot Review by Genii

The Aces And Faces slot machine by provider Genii is a classic video poker game that will appeal to both beginners and experienced players. If you appreciate simplicity, clear rules, and the ability to apply strategy, this slot is made for you. Aces And Faces offers an engaging gameplay where skill and luck go hand in hand, and combinations with aces and "face cards" play a key role.

General Description

Aces And Faces is not a traditional slot with spinning reels, but a variation of video poker. The goal of the game is to collect a winning poker hand of five cards. The gameplay is intuitive: you place a bet, receive five cards, choose which ones to keep (Hold), and which to exchange for new ones. The stronger the combination, the higher the payout.

Visually, the game is designed in a minimalist style, which is characteristic of many video poker games. The cards are clear and easy to read, and the interface is not overloaded with unnecessary elements. The main focus is on the playing field and the paytable, which is always visible, allowing players to quickly navigate potential winnings.

Mechanics and RTP

The game mechanics in Aces And Faces by Genii are very simple and follow standard video poker rules:

• Bet: You choose the bet size, which can vary depending on the casino. Usually, you can select the number of coins (from 1 to 5) and their denomination.
• Card Deal: After placing a bet, you are dealt five cards.
• Card Selection: You decide which cards to keep (Hold) and which to discard. Clicking on a card marks it as "Hold".
• Card Exchange: After selecting the cards you want to keep, click the "Draw" button (or similar) to exchange the discarded cards for new ones.
• Payout: If you have formed a winning combination after the exchange, you receive a payout according to the table.

RTP (Retu to Player) in Aces And Faces is usually quite high, as with most video poker games. The exact value may vary depending on the specific game version and casino settings, but typically it ranges from 98% - 99%. This makes Aces And Faces very attractive to players looking for slots with good winning chances, especially when applying an optimal strategy.

Volatility (variance) in Aces And Faces can be characterized as medium. This means that wins can be quite frequent, but their size can vary from small to quite substantial, especially when collecting rare combinations such as "Four of a Kind" with aces or a "Royal Flush".

Bonus Features

Aces And Faces by Genii lacks traditional bonus rounds, free spins, or special symbols characteristic of video slots. However, the very principle of the game with forming poker combinations is the main "bonus" feature. The key features that distinguish Aces And Faces from other types of video poker are the increased payouts for certain combinations:

• Increased Payouts for Four of a Kind: The main feature of the game is significantly increased payouts for "Four of a Kind" combinations (four cards of the same rank), especially for Four of a Kind with aces and Four of a Kind with "face cards" (jacks, queens, kings).
• Gamble Feature: After each win, you have the option to double your winnings. This usually takes place in a mini-game where you have to guess the color or suit of the next card. Be careful, as an incorrect choice will result in the loss of all winnings for the round.

Symbols and Combinations:

Aces And Faces uses standard playing cards. Winning combinations (from lowest to highest) include:

• Jacks or Better: A pair of jacks, queens, kings, or aces.
• Two Pair
• Three of a Kind
• Straight
• Flush
• Full House
• Four of a Kind: In Aces And Faces, there are special payouts for:
  • Four of a Kind with 2, 3, 4
  • Four of a Kind with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
  • Four of a Kind with jacks, queens, kings
  • Four of a Kind with aces (highest payout for Four of a Kind)
• Straight Flush
• Royal Flush: The highest combination, bringing the maximum win, especially when playing with 5 coins.

The paytable is always displayed on the screen, allowing players to track potential winnings for each combination and make strategic decisions.

Final Verdict

Aces And Faces by Genii is an excellent choice for video poker enthusiasts who appreciate classics and the ability to influence the outcome of the game through strategy. High RTP, clear mechanics, and an emphasis on "Four of a Kind" combinations with "face cards" and aces make this slot very attractive.

The absence of complex bonus rounds and bright animations may not appeal to fans of mode video slots, but for connoisseurs of pure poker, this is rather an advantage. If you are looking for a game where your experience and decision-making skills truly matter, and not just blind luck, Aces And Faces by Genii is definitely worth your attention. It's a great way to pass the time, hone your poker skills, and perhaps hit a big jackpot.
