American Poker II by Novomatic is a tribute to classic video poker, which has entertained players in land-based and online casinos for decades. If you appreciate simplicity, strategy, and the chance to double your winnings, American Poker II is an excellent choice.

Game Mechanics and RTP

American Poker II is video poker, not a traditional slot machine with reels. The goal of the game is to form a winning combination of five cards. The game begins with the player placing a bet and receiving five cards. Then, the player can choose which cards to keep and which to discard to receive new ones. After exchanging cards, the final combination is formed, and if it matches one of the winning combinations, the player receives a prize.

• RTP (Retu to Player): The theoretical retu to player percentage in American Poker II, like most video poker games, can vary depending on the specific casino and game settings, but it typically ranges from 94-96%. It's important to remember that RTP in video poker heavily depends on an optimal playing strategy.
• Volatility: The volatility of American Poker II can be characterized as medium. This means that wins can be frequent but small, or less frequent but more significant, especially when forming higher combinations.
• Paylines: American Poker II does not have traditional paylines, as in slots. Winning combinations are determined by standard poker rules.

Bonus Features

American Poker II, being a classic video poker game, does not offer complex bonus rounds or free spins. However, it has a key feature that adds excitement and the opportunity to increase winnings:

• Gamble/Double Feature: After each win, the player has the option to participate in a gamble game. The goal is to guess the color of the next card (red or black). If the choice is correct, the winnings are doubled. If the choice is incorrect, the winnings are lost. This feature can be used multiple times in a row, but be aware of the high risk.

Symbols

American Poker II uses standard card symbols from 2 to Ace, as well as a Joker.

• Standard Cards: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace.
• Joker: In American Poker II, the Joker is a wild card and can substitute for any other card to create a winning combination. This significantly increases the chances of forming strong hands.

Winning combinations correspond to standard poker hands, such as:

• Pair (e.g., two Aces)
• Two Pair
• Three of a Kind
• Straight (a sequence of five cards)
• Flush (five cards of the same suit)
• Full House (three of a kind and a pair)

The lowest winning combination usually starts with a pair of Jacks or better, but this can vary depending on the paytable of the specific game version.
