Five Joker Poker

Five Joker Poker Slot Review by Novomatic

Five Joker Poker is an exciting video poker game from the renowned provider Novomatic, offering players a unique blend of classic poker and thrilling bonus features. Unlike traditional video poker, five jokers are added to the deck, significantly increasing the chances of forming winning combinations and making the gameplay even more dynamic and unpredictable.

Mechanics and RTP

Five Joker Poker uses a standard 52-card deck plus five jokers, totaling 57 cards. The goal of the game, as in classic poker, is to form the highest possible five-card winning combination. The game begins with the player placing a bet and receiving five cards. The player then has the option to discard one to five cards and replace them with new ones to improve their hand. After the card exchange, the final combination is determined, and if it's a winning one, the player receives a corresponding payout.

The RTP (Retu to Player) in Five Joker Poker typically ranges from 95-97%, which is a fairly good indicator for video poker. This means that, in the long run, players can expect to get back a significant portion of their bets. The game's volatility can be characterized as medium. This means that wins will occur fairly regularly, but their size can vary from small to quite substantial, especially when forming combinations with jokers.

Paylines: There are no traditional paylines in video poker, as there are in slots. Winnings are determined by the strength of the poker hand you've formed. The stronger the combination, the higher the payout. The paytable is usually displayed on the game screen and clearly shows how much you'll receive for each combination, from a pair to a royal flush with jokers.

Bonus Features

The main feature and, in essence, the bonus function of Five Joker Poker is the presence of five jokers. These cards are "wild" and can substitute for any other card in the deck to form a winning combination. This significantly simplifies the collection of strong hands and increases the potential for big wins. For example, jokers can help you get:

• Five of a Kind: A unique combination possible only thanks to jokers, which brings very high payouts.
• Royal Flush with Jokers: Although not a "pure" royal flush, it is still an extremely strong combination and is generously paid.
• Four of a Kind with Jokers: Jokers significantly increase the chances of getting four of a kind, which is one of the most desired combinations.

In addition to jokers, Five Joker Poker, like many other video poker games, features a Gamble function. After each winning hand, the player is offered the chance to risk their winnings to double them. This usually involves guessing the color or suit of the next card. If the player guesses correctly, their winnings are doubled; if not, they lose all winnings for the current round. This feature adds an extra layer of excitement and allows for significant increases in winnings under favorable circumstances.

Final Verdict

Five Joker Poker by Novomatic is an excellent choice for video poker enthusiasts looking for something new and more dynamic than classic versions of the game. The addition of five jokers fundamentally changes the strategy and significantly increases the probability of big wins, making each round more exciting.

Medium volatility and good RTP make this game attractive to both beginners and experienced players. The gamble feature adds an element of risk and the possibility for even larger payouts. The graphics and sound design are done in the classic Novomatic style, creating the atmosphere of a real casino.

If you love poker and want to try it in a new, more generous interpretation, Five Joker Poker definitely deserves your attention. It's an engaging and potentially very profitable slot machine that will provide hours of exciting entertainment.
