General Description

Folsom Prison is a slot with an unusual reel structure and dynamic gameplay. Initially, the field is 4-2-4-2-4, but thanks to special mechanics, it can expand to 4-6-4-6-4, offering up to 46,656 ways to win. The game immerses you in the world of prison life, where every symbol, from low-paying cards to high-paying inmates, tells its own story. The graphics and sound design are top-notch, creating a truly captivating atmosphere.

Mechanics and RTP

Folsom Prison offers a unique payout mechanic based on Multiway (+1024), which means wins for combinations of symbols on adjacent reels, regardless of their vertical position. The game initially starts with 16 cells, which can be unlocked, increasing the number of potential combinations. The maximum number of ways to win reaches 46,656!

• RTP (Retu to Player): The RTP range in Folsom Prison varies. In the base game, it is 96.07%, but when purchasing bonuses or using the Bonus Bet (XBet) option, the value may change. It's important to always check the RTP at the specific casino.
• Volatility: The slot has very high volatility, which is characteristic of Nolimit City games. This means that wins may be rare but very large.
• Symbols:
  • Low-paying symbols: Card suits (10, J, Q, K, A) in the form of prison tattoos.
  • High-paying symbols: Five different inmates, each with their own story and unique appearance.
  • Wild symbol: Replaces all regular symbols to create winning combinations.
  • Scatter symbol: The "Scatter" symbol triggers bonus games.
• Paylines: Folsom Prison does not have traditional paylines. Wins are formed by adjacent symbols, starting from the leftmost reel, which provides many more opportunities for combinations.

Bonus Features

Folsom Prison is packed with unique and lucrative bonus features that make the gameplay unpredictable and exciting:

• xWays: This symbol can transform into 2 or 3 regular symbols, increasing the number of ways to win on the reel. It can only appear in the middle two positions in the base game and on all reels in bonus rounds.
• xSplit: The xSplit symbol, when appearing on the reels, splits all symbols in its path into two, doubling their number and potentially creating more combinations.
• xBet (Bonus Bet): By activating this feature, you increase your bet by 20%, but significantly increase your chances of landing scatters and activating bonus rounds.
• Cockroach Nest: This is a unique Wild symbol that appears randomly and moves across the reels, leaving Wild symbols behind. Each time a cockroach passes through a symbol, it leaves a Wild behind. If a cockroach passes through an existing Wild, it increases its multiplier. Cockroaches can only appear in open positions.
• Walk the Line (Free Spins):
  • 3 Scatter symbols: Activate 8 "Walk the Line" free spins.
  • Mechanics: In this round, 2x2 and 2x4 cells are always open. At least one Cockroach Nest is guaranteed to appear on each spin.
  • Additional free spins: Landing scatters during free spins can award additional spins.
• The Chair (Super Free Spins):
  • 4 Scatter symbols: Activate 8 "The Chair" super free spins.
  • Mechanics: In this round, 4x4 and 4x6 cells are always open, providing the maximum number of ways to win. At least two Cockroach Nests are guaranteed to appear on each spin.
  • Additional free spins: As in "Walk the Line," additional spins can be obtained.
• Buy Bonus: For those who don't want to wait, Nolimit City offers the option to purchase access to bonus rounds:
  • Walk the Line (8 free spins): Costs 82x your bet.
  • The Chair (8 super free spins): Costs 500x your bet.
  • Lucky Draw (Random Bonus): Costs 200x your bet, gives a chance to get either Walk the Line or The Chair.
