Hyakkiyakou

Hyakkiyakou by Vela Gaming: General Overview

Hyakkiyakou is a slot game from the provider Vela Gaming, designed in the style of Japanese folklore. The slot’s name refers to the legendary “Night Parade of One Hundred Demons,” so the game’s visuals revolve around mystical creatures, spirits, and traditional Easte imagery.

The core gameplay is enhanced by Wild symbols, Scatter symbols, and free spin rounds. As a result, Hyakkiyakou combines standard combination payouts with the chance to activate a bonus mode without placing additional bets.

Mechanics, Paylines, and RTP

The player’s goal is to form winning combinations of matching symbols. A payout is awarded when the required number of matching images appears on active paylines or positions defined by the slot’s mathematical model. The size of the win depends on the symbol value, the number of matches, and the selected bet.

Before starting a spin, players can set the bet amount using the controls. After the Spin button is pressed, the reels stop randomly, and the system automatically checks the resulting combinations. An autoplay mode may be available for a series of quick rounds, depending on the specific casino version.

RTP and Volatility

The exact RTP of the Hyakkiyakou slot should be checked in the information menu of the launched game. Vela Gaming may provide operators with several mathematical configurations, so the theoretical retu percentage may vary depending on the casino and region.

Volatility determines how payouts are distributed. With higher variance, wins generally occur less frequently but may be larger. With medium or low volatility, results are more often made up of small and moderate payouts. The current risk level, maximum win, and payout table are displayed in the rules of the specific Hyakkiyakou version.

Symbols and Winning Combinations

The symbol set supports the slot’s mystical Japanese theme. Basic images are used to form standard combinations, while special icons trigger additional mechanics.

• Regular symbols generate payouts according to the paytable.
• High-paying symbols award larger prizes for the same number of matches.
• Wild substitutes for standard symbols and helps complete combinations.
• Scatter is used to activate free spins or another reward specified by the rules.

The number of paylines and the direction in which combinations are counted should be checked in the paytable. The game interface shows which positions are considered winning, how many matching symbols are required, and which multiplier is used to calculate the result.

Hyakkiyakou Bonus Features

Wild Symbol

Wild is a universal symbol that substitutes for most regular images. If a combination is missing one symbol, a Wild landing in the appropriate position may complete the winning sequence. As a rule, the Wild does not substitute for Scatter unless explicitly stated otherwise in the slot rules.

The value of the Wild depends on the structure of the game grid and the available paylines. It may participate in several combinations simultaneously, increasing the total win from a single spin.

Scatter Symbols

Scatter differs from standard symbols because it is used to trigger the bonus mode. Activating the feature usually requires landing a set number of Scatters in a single spin. The exact number of required symbols and the positions on which they count are specified in the Hyakkiyakou help section.

In some configurations, Scatter may also award a separate payout. Such a win is often calculated independently of regular paylines, although the actual terms depend on the slot version.

Free Spins

Free spins are triggered by landing the required number of Scatter symbols. During the bonus round, spins are played without deducting their cost from the balance, while all payouts are added to the feature’s total result.

• The number of free spins is determined by the rules and the number of Scatters landed.
• The bonus round bet usually matches the bet of the triggering spin.
• Landing additional Scatters may award extra spins if the feature can be retriggered.
• Wild continues to help form combinations during free spins.

Before playing, it is recommended to open the paytable and review the free spin conditions. This allows players to check the number of free spins, the possibility of retriggering the feature, and any maximum payout limits in advance.
