Jurassic Island 2 Slot Review by Playtech Vikings

Get ready for an exciting jou ey into the prehistoric world with the Jurassic Island 2 slot machine by Playtech Vikings! This slot is a sequel to a popular game and promises even more dinosaurs, thrilling adventures, and, of course, big wins. The developers have done an excellent job creating a slot that is not only engaging but also features mode functionalities and stunning graphics.

Mechanics and RTP

Jurassic Island 2 is a slot with 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1024 ways to win, thanks to the innovative Buffalo mechanics. This means that winning combinations are formed when symbols match on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one, regardless of their position on the row. This mechanic significantly increases the chances of winning, making every spin even more intriguing.

RTP (Retu to Player) in Jurassic Island 2 varies, which is a common practice for Playtech. This means that casinos can adjust the player retu percentage within a certain range. It is always recommended to check the specific RTP value at your chosen casino before starting to play. Typically, Playtech slots have a competitive RTP range, ensuring a fair balance between player winnings and casino profit.

The volatility of the Jurassic Island 2 slot is rated as high. This means that wins may be less frequent but can be significantly larger. For players with a larger bankroll and patience, such volatility can bring substantial rewards. High volatility makes the game more exciting and dynamic, as each spin can result in either a small loss or a huge jackpot.

Bonus Features

Jurassic Island 2 is rich in bonus features that make the gameplay even more exciting and rewarding:

• Wild Symbols: Wild symbols are represented by a volcano image. They can substitute for any other symbol, except the scatter, to form winning combinations.
• Wild Multipliers: The game features special wild symbols that not only substitute for other symbols but also multiply the win they are part of. These multipliers can significantly boost your winnings, especially with multiple wild symbols in one combination.
• Sticky Wild: During certain bonus rounds or random features, wild symbols can become "sticky," remaining on the reels for several subsequent spins. This increases the chances of forming winning combinations.
• Scatter Symbols: The dinosaur egg symbol acts as the scatter. Landing three or more scatters anywhere on the reels activates the free spins round.
• Free Spins: The number of free spins depends on the number of scatters landed. This round often includes additional modifiers such as increasing multipliers, sticky wilds, or additional random wilds, making it particularly lucrative.
• Random Wilds / Extra Wilds: At any point during the base game or free spins, additional wild symbols can randomly appear on the reels, significantly increasing your chances of winning.
• Random Multiplier: A random multiplier can be activated during any spin, applying to all wins in that spin, adding an element of surprise and potentially huge payouts.
• Stacked Symbols: Some symbols, especially high-paying dinosaurs, can appear as stacks, occupying multiple positions on a reel. This increases the likelihood of forming winning combinations across multiple paylines simultaneously.

Symbols and Paylines

The symbols in Jurassic Island 2 perfectly convey the atmosphere of the prehistoric world. Low-paying symbols are represented by stylized card suits (from 9 to Ace), crafted in an ancient style. High-paying symbols are various types of dinosaurs, each with its unique design and animation. The highest-paying symbol is typically the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The wild symbol is the volcano, and the scatter is the dinosaur egg.

Thanks to the Buffalo mechanics, the game does not have traditional paylines. Instead, wins are formed in 1024 ways when matching symbols land on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one. This makes the win-forming process more intuitive and dynamic.

Final Verdict

Jurassic Island 2 by Playtech Vikings is a truly exciting slot machine that offers players high-quality graphics, engaging gameplay, and generous bonus features. The Buffalo mechanics with 1024 ways to win, combined with high volatility and a multitude of bonus options such as wild multipliers, sticky wilds, and free spins, make every spin potentially very rewarding.
