Ruby Hit: Hold and Win Slot Review by Playson

Get ready for a dazzling adventure in the world of classic fruit slots, but with a mode twist! The Ruby Hit: Hold and Win slot from Playson is a vibrant blend of nostalgia and innovative bonus features capable of delivering solid wins. If you appreciate simplicity but aren't willing to forgo exciting bonus rounds, this slot is made for you.

General Description

Ruby Hit: Hold and Win transports players to the atmosphere of a traditional casino, where juicy fruits, lucky sevens, and, of course, precious rubies spin on the reels. The slot is designed in a classic style, but with mode graphics and animations that make the gameplay dynamic and appealing. Bright colors and clear symbols create a pleasant visual impression, while unobtrusive sound effects complement the overall picture without distracting from the game.

The game field consists of 3 reels and 3 rows, which is a nod to classic "one-armed bandits." However, don't let this simplicity deceive you – it hides the potential for big wins thanks to the Hold and Win mechanic.

Mechanics and RTP

Ruby Hit: Hold and Win uses a classic 3-reel, 3-row structure, offering 5 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are formed by landing three identical symbols on an active line. The betting range is wide enough to satisfy both beginners and experienced high rollers, allowing for control over risks and potential rewards.

RTP (Retu to Player): The retu to player percentage in Ruby Hit: Hold and Win can vary but is typically in the range of 95.53% - 95.66%. This is an average indicator for mode slots, suggesting that the game offers reasonably fair chances of winning in the long run.

Volatility: The slot has medium volatility. This means you can expect relatively frequent, but not always very large, wins. Medium volatility makes the game comfortable for most players, as there is a balance between the size of wins and their frequency.

Symbols

• Low-paying symbols: Classic fruits such as cherries, lemons, oranges, and plums.
• High-paying symbols: Watermelons, grapes, and lucky sevens. Sevens are usually the most valuable symbols in the base game.
• Wild symbol: Represented by a special symbol (often the word "Wild" or another unique icon). It substitutes for all regular symbols on the reels, helping to form winning combinations.
• Bonus symbol: Rubies are the key symbols that activate the main bonus game.

Bonus Features

The main highlight of Ruby Hit: Hold and Win, as the name suggests, is the Hold and Win feature. In addition to it, the slot offers other interesting mechanics.

1. Hold and Win Bonus Game

This feature is activated when 3 or more bonus symbols (rubies) land on the reels. You will be taken to a new game field where only the bonus symbols that triggered the round and empty cells will be present. You are awarded 3 respins.

• Each new bonus symbol that lands during respins locks in place and resets the respin counter back to 3.
• Bonus symbols have monetary values that are summed at the end of the round.
• Fill all 9 positions with bonus symbols to win one of the jackpots!

2. Jackpots

The game features various jackpots that can be won during the Hold and Win bonus game:

• Mini Jackpot
• Major Jackpot
• Grand Jackpot

To win a jackpot, you need to collect a certain number or combination of bonus symbols, or fill the entire game field with bonus symbols, which usually leads to the largest jackpot.

3. Bonus Symbols (Collection Feature)

In addition to regular rubies, special bonus symbols with additional features may appear in the game, such as symbols that double winnings or add multipliers to overall payouts in the bonus game.

Final Verdict

Ruby Hit: Hold and Win by Playson is an excellent slot for those who appreciate classic design but are looking for mode bonus opportunities. The simplicity of the game field combined with the exciting Hold and Win feature and the potential to win jackpots makes this game very appealing.

Medium volatility and an acceptable RTP ensure balanced gameplay, where you can enjoy frequent, though not always large, wins while waiting for the bonus round to activate. If you love fruit slots with the potential for big payouts, Ruby Hit: Hold and Win is definitely worth your attention. It is ideal for both short gaming sessions and extended play.
