Ultra Star Deluxe

Ultra Star Deluxe Slot Review by Novomatic

Get ready for a classic fruit frenzy, but with a mode twist! The Ultra Star Deluxe slot machine by Novomatic is a vibrant blend of nostalgia for traditional "one-armed bandits" and exciting bonus features that can bring impressive wins. If you appreciate simplicity and dynamism, yet don't mind hunting for big prizes, this slot is definitely worth a try.

General Description of Ultra Star Deluxe

Ultra Star Deluxe is a classic 5-reel video slot with 3 rows of symbols and 10 fixed paylines. The game's design follows the best traditions of fruit slots: bright, juicy fruits, lucky sevens, and golden stars ado the reels, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. The interface is intuitive, making the game accessible to both beginners and experienced players. The background music and sound effects are unobtrusive, yet harmoniously complement the gameplay, enhancing the feeling of being in a real casino.

Game Mechanics and RTP

Like most Novomatic slots, Ultra Star Deluxe offers simple and straightforward gameplay. Your task is to collect combinations of three or more identical symbols on active paylines, starting from the leftmost reel. The size of the win depends on the type of symbols and their quantity in the combination.

• RTP (Retu to Player): The theoretical retu to player percentage in Ultra Star Deluxe is 95.10%. This is an average indicator for Novomatic slots, promising fairly frequent, though not always large, wins.
• Volatility: The game's volatility is at a medium level. This means you can expect both small but regular payouts and a chance for more significant wins, especially when bonus features are activated. This balance makes the game engaging and less risky compared to high-volatility slots.
• Symbols: On the reels, you will encounter traditional fruit symbols (cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons), as well as higher-paying symbols – lucky sevens.
• Paylines: The game has 10 fixed paylines. This means you cannot change their number, and each bet covers all 10 lines.

Ultra Star Deluxe Bonus Features

Despite its classic appearance, Ultra Star Deluxe boasts several interesting bonus features that add dynamism and potential for big wins to the game.

Sticky Wilds and Respins

The main star of the show in Ultra Star Deluxe is undoubtedly the Golden Star. This symbol acts as a Wild, meaning it can substitute for any other symbols on the reels to form winning combinations. But that's not all! When a Golden Star lands on the reels, it becomes "sticky" (Sticky Wild) and remains in its position, and you get a free respin. If another Golden Star lands during the respin, it also locks in place, and another respin is triggered. This process continues as long as new Wild symbols appear on the reels. Imagine the potential if you manage to fill several reels with sticky Wilds!

Gamble Feature

After each winning spin, you have the opportunity to multiply your prize in the Gamble Feature. This is a classic feature where you need to guess the color of a hidden card (red or black). If you guess correctly, your winnings will be doubled. If not, you lose all your winnings for the current round. You can play the gamble game multiple times in a row, but be careful – one wrong choice can reset your balance to zero. This feature adds an element of excitement and allows players with strong nerves to significantly increase their winnings.

Final Verdict

Ultra Star Deluxe by Novomatic is an excellent choice for those who appreciate classic slots but are looking for something more than just spinning reels. The combination of familiar fruit symbols with exciting sticky Wild mechanics and respins makes the game dynamic and potentially very profitable. Medium volatility and an RTP of 95.10% provide a balanced gameplay experience, where there is room for frequent small wins and the chance to hit a big jackpot. The gamble feature adds an extra layer of excitement for those willing to take a risk. Overall, Ultra Star Deluxe is a well-made, engaging, and noteworthy slot machine that can provide a lot of positive emotions and excitement.
